Today: Volunteer Away Your Fines at Seven Trees Library.
Every now and then, libraries need a little extra love from the communities they serve. You can volunteer away your library fines at a rate of $20 per hour while helping the library maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Volunteers will be responsible for: Book cover cleaning – Use disinfecting wipes to reinvigorate dingy books. Bookshelves – Dust shelves and organize library materials. Deep cleaning computers – Use disinfecting wipes to disinfect computer mice and mouse pads and compressed air to remove any dust particles or debris. Material inspection – Check books for torn pages, pen marks, etc.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in volunteering away their library fines.
Details and Requirements: Must be able to commit to the full session Anyone under the age of 15 must volunteer alongside a parent/guardian No experience or special skills necessary Training and supplies will be provided

Today: Baby Lapsit Storytime at Seven Trees Library.
This program is for babies that are not yet walking confidently, and their caregivers. Come join us every Tuesday for Baby Lapsit Storytime! Baby Lapsit invites newborns, infants, babies, and their caregivers to learn together by strengthening their relationship with each other through stories, songs, bounces, tickles, rhymes, books, and play.

Today: Family Storytime + Stay & Play at Seven Trees Library.
Storytime is designed to accommodate a mix of ages and invites the entire family to participate in early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities. Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This program is geared for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers!
After Storytime concludes, we invite you to Stay & Play! Until 6:30 pm the Storytime librarian and special toys will be on the Children’s Room floor to keep the fun going. Meet new friends, play with toys, chat, get book recommendations, and maybe even create something!

Make your own paper ROCKET with this take-home STEAM kit! Children and their families are invited to stop by the Seven Trees Branch Library Information Desk and pick up a STEAM activity to take home (while supplies last).
