Family Storytime at San Jose’s Joyce Ellington Library.
Storytime is a fun and interactive experience designed to accommodate a mix of ages and invites the entire family to participate in early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities. This program promotes the joys of reading and learning for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers!
Stay after storytime for our Stay and Play session, where kids can enjoy hands-on activities, toys, and social playtime together. Free, with limited capacity. Seating for Storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of tickets will be distributed at the Information Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of Storytime.

Playdates for Children and Their Caregivers at San Jose’s Seven Trees Library.
Join us every Wednesday for weekly playdates. Kids get to practice early social skills like sharing, taking turns, imitation of play, and joint attention while caregivers get a chance to connect.

Indoor Family Storytime + Stay & Play at San Jose’s King Library.
Storytime is designed to accommodate a mix of ages and invites the entire family to participate in early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities. Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This program is geared for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers! Please note that this will be an indoor program. Free, with limited capacity.
Seating for Storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of tickets will be distributed at the Information Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of Storytime. After Storytime concludes, we invite you to Stay & Play! Until 12pm the Storytime librarian and special toys will be on the Children’s Room floor to keep the fun going. Meet new friends, play with toys, chat, get book recommendations, and maybe even create something!

Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This program is geared for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers!
To prevent overcrowding, there are two storytimes at Calabazas on Wednesday morning. The same storytime will be held twice, at 10:30 and again at 11:15 a.m.
Free, with limited capacity. Tickets available at the desk 30 minutes before program starts.

Baby/Toddler Storytime at Vineland Library.
Baby/Toddler Storytime invites children and their caregivers to wiggle, rhyme, and sing with diverse books, songs, and fingerplays that encourage language, play, and exploration.
This program is geared for children 0 to 3 years of age and their parents/caregivers, but all children are welcome! Free, with limited capacity. Seating for storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
