Pupcycled: Make a Toy for a Dog in Need + Volunteer Away Your Fines

Today: Pupcycled: Make a Toy for a Dog in Need + Volunteer Away Your Fines at Almaden Library.
Join us for a family-friendly, volunteer drop-in event where participants of all ages can braid or sew used, machine-washed clothing into dog toys for local shelters! REMINDER: This is NOT a craft to take home. All dog toys are created for donation to local shelters! If you are here to Volunteer Away Your Fines, please be sure to bring your library card and sign in so that we can track your hour(s.) We’ll waive your fines at a rate of $20 per hour. Details and Requirements: Anyone under the age of 15 must volunteer alongside a parent/guardian No experience or special skills necessary. Training and supplies will be provided Registration is suggested, but not required. This is a drop-in event, you do not have to stay the entire duration.
