Marine Mammal Monday: Magnificent Migrations | Online

Marine Mammal Monday presentations will be broadcast live on The Marine Mammal Center’s Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch the live broadcast. Just visit the Center’s Facebook page at 4pm PT on the day of the event.  Past events are also online for viewing.

These virtual presentations will feature multimedia, pictures, video and a live-streamed educator to share the stories of amazing marine mammals and the Center’s efforts to ensure the health of these animals and our ocean.

April 5, 2021: Magnificent Migrations
This month we celebrate the animals that love to travel! Marine mammals are famous for their epic migrations along the California coast. Come learn about some of the ocean’s best swimmers! Did you know the gray whale travels between Alaska and Mexico each year? Did you know that Monterey Bay is one of the best places in the World to see the blue whale? Come learn about all the wonderful species of whales that we can see off the California coastline.
