As a green facility, Happy Hollow is dedicated to eco-friendly and sustainable Halloween fun for our guests. Whether it’s checking for sustainable ingredients, reducing or eliminating single-use plastics, or purchasing candy with sustainable palm oil – there are many ways to make Halloween more eco-friendly. Join us for some Green Halloween fun!

All event activities are free with General Admission.

Tech or Treat is back! Join us for this spooktastic two-day extravaganza at The Tech Interactive, filled with family-friendly science fun! 

What is Tech or Treat? This annual event hosted at The Tech Interactive combines the excitement of trick-or-treating and hands-on science activities, creating a one-of-a-kind Halloween celebration! 

  • Trick or treat in a world-class science museum (candy-free!)
  • Participate in our Spooky Science Slime Lab (additional cost)
  • Craft your own glowing paper marigolds (cempasúchitl) in celebration of Dia de los Muertos 
  • Explore the museum’s exhibits with a Halloween twist 
  • And so much more!

Spooky Science Slime Lab

Make your Tech or Treat day complete with a visit to our Spooky Science Lab. Join our mad scientists as they experiment and create some ooey, gooey, spooky slime! Places are limited and reservations must be made in advance.

Saturday, October 26, 2024 – workshops at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.

This thrilling and bone-chilling concert experience is perfect for the entire family. So, whether you bring your flesh-in-blood, your broom-mate, your boo, or just come on your own, Symphonic Spooktacular is guaranteed to raise your spirits.

Our panel of judges will be on the lookout to identify winners in three categories: Best Adult (18+), Best Youth (<18), and special Judges’ Prize.
Don’t feel like dressing up – fear not – come as you are and enjoy the costume parade.
