Visit the Hiller Aviation Museum this October for a frightful treat! Come in costume and see the Gallery decked out in its spooky Halloween decorations and the “Great Pumpkin” Scavenger Hunt.
Join the excitement with special activities just for kids on the weekends during our Kids’ Carnival and Haunted Hangar Festival & Pumpkin Drop. Aircraft checkouts, cockpit exploration, glider and helicopter construction, and more are just some of the activities that will be available.
Daily 10 am – 5 pm, Oct 21 – 31, 2023. Free with admission $14-$21.

On Saturday, Leap Arts in Education will take over Ocean Beach to host the largest sandcastle contest in Northern California; featuring team competition, food trucks, and live music all day.
The public is invited to join in the fun and experience the construction of dozens of jaw-dropping, supersized sand sculptures.
The Annual Leap Sandcastle Classic, a San Francisco tradition, raises funds for high-quality arts and architecture education for more than 8,500 Bay Area public school students who would otherwise go without.
Thousands flock to Ocean Beach to build giant sand sculptures with architecture, design, technology, engineering, and construction companies in partnership with students from local schools.

Creepy Crawly Halloween Crafts at the Campbell Historical Museum! Don’t miss the chance to enjoy some Halloween crafts for families on Sunday, October 29, from 2 pm- 5 pm.
Bring your little ones, enjoy Halloween goodies and craft fun (you can even make your own decorated Trick or Treat bag!), and then head to downtown Campbell’s Creepy Crawly Trick or Treat event.

Boo at the Zoo returns on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 & 29, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Throughout each day, you won’t want to miss presentations of Halloween treats and pumpkins for animals and spooky decorations in many animal areas.
Be sure to “snap” the animal treat schedule at the Entry Village Gatehouse. Each day at 11:30 a.m., Wildlife Theater will showcase a “Supernatural Species Meet & Greet” for guests to meet a variety of animals up close.
On Sunday, October 29 at 10:45 a.m., line up to be among the first 10 families to participate in Frankenstein’s Feast at the Family Farm inside the Children’s Zoo where you can make Halloween enrichment for our barnyard animals.
