Earth Day Baylands Tour | Eco Center

Come celebrate Earth Day by exploring the tidal ecology of the Baylands Nature Preserve with the Environmental Volunteers. We will start the tour at the EcoCenter, learning about what can be revealed while the tide is out. Interactive activities will show just how alive the habitat is! Then, embark with volunteer guides to see what fascinating plants and animals can be found on the preserve during low tide. All ages are welcome. Note: All participants must agree to wear a face mask at all times. All participants will be asked to sign a Waiver of Liability and a Photo Release before programs. Photo Releases are optional but Waivers are required for participation.

San Leandro Family Earth Day Festival | Casa Peralta

Join us for this FUN, family-friendly event on the grounds of the Historic Casa Peralta in Downtown San Leandro.
Downtown San Leandro and Community Impact Lab invite you to a FREE, family-friendly Earth Day celebration. There will be plenty of hands-on activities for kids 10 & under, including zero-waste bird feeder craft, eco-pledge tote decorating, a plant and take seed project, eco-story time, sidewalk chalk, and more. Parents, bring your reusable cup for free coffee, and kids, bring a toy for the “Buy Nothing” Toy Swap! Families are encouraged to BART/walk/bike. Free parking is also available at the City Parking lot located at Dan Niemi Way and Davis Street.

Cupertino’s Annual Earth Day & Arbor Day Festival is an interactive event that invites community members of all ages to learn about environmental issues and solutions in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Earth Day & Arbor Day Festival features hands-on activities, live entertainment, and delicious food served by local food trucks.

Join us on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. join us at Library Field Park to celebrate our shared earth and help the environment.

Please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle. Plastic water bottles will not be available for purchase at this event. We will have water refill stations.

Celebrate Earth Day with the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority in Coyote Valley!
Come celebrate Mother Nature and all you can do to help planet Earth at this special free event for the whole community! Take a walk up to the top of Spreckles Hill for breathtaking views of Coyote Valley, followed by arts and crafts, raw honey sampling from the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo apiary, activities to learn about water, and the opportunity to meet native plant garden enthusiasts. Hear from Open Space Authority General Manager Andrea Mackenzie and get inspired by our special guests from the local conservation community Activities begin at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive at 9:45 a.m. to allow time to park and check-in.
