December 1, 2022 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Today: TeenHQ Comic Shop at Dr. MLK, Jr. Library
Teens, super passionate about comics, graphic novels, and/or manga? Love to create your own visual stories? Like to get crafty with fandom things? Check out TeenHQ’s Comic Shop on the first Thursday of the month. Each month we’ll explore comics, graphic novels, and manga in a new and fun way. December 1st: Mini Comic Zines – Create your own mini 8 panel comic in zine format Join us for this month’s installment of Comic Shop at TeenHQ, King Library, downtown. This month we’ll be making 8-page comic zines about something personal – your pick on what is personal. Create a comic about how you clean your room, your favorite/least favorite chore, something that grosses you out, or make a review of your top 7 colors. Whatever it is, make it personal and then share. Zines can be scanned, reproduced, and shared as you choose. Do it on paper or make a printable version on Canva. Missed the Thursday activity? Supplies available on Saturday, December 3rd. Free. No registration required.
