January 15 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

CelebrateFamily.us Library Events in the Bay Area

Today: JAVA Principles to Prepare for AP Computer Science A (Virtual)

Youth ages 12 to 17 years are invited to register for an Introductory workshop that covers the principles to prepare for the high school AP Computer Science A course. The workshop covers key programming concepts and terms to become proficient in Java and to prepare participants for the AP Computer Science A course.

Participants should not register unless they are able to attend all four sessions (sessions will not be recorded so live participation is required to learn the material). Registered participants who miss the first session may lose their spot in the program. All sessions will be held online using Zoom.

Should a space become available, participants will be notified by email. To request an accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act for library-sponsored events, please call 408-808-2000 or email Accessibility@sjlibrary.org at least three business days prior to the event
Audience: Teens, ages 12-18 Source
