Today: Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition: Bike Basics at East San Jose Carnegie Library

Learn about ride prep, rules of the road, gear, routes, and resources. This is a great introductory workshop for people who are new to bicycling or interested in learning more about how to enjoy safe and comfortable biking. Experienced commuters and new riders are encouraged to attend.

Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition is a nonprofit that builds healthier and more just communities by making bicycling safe and accessible for everyone. We will teach you anything you need to know about using your bike for safe, healthy, affordable, fun transportation!  

Recommended for all ages. Minors require adult supervision.

Minor bike repairs will be available outdoors after indoor program. Bikes must remain outside. Recommend locking bike when left outside.
