Cinemark is bringing drop in gaming to select Cinemark/Century theaters starting Sunday, July 11th.  In the SF Bay area, Century 20 Oakridge in San Jose is your spot.

Bring your own Nintendo Switch™ with a copy of the scheduled game and go head-to-head with other gamers.

Nintendo games on the schedule so far are Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Mario Kart Deluxe 8 and Rocket League.

Admission is $10 per player and a $5 concessions coupon. For non-players, tickets are $5 each.

Things to Know Before You Go to San Jose Giants Games

• Bags: Clear Bags should be no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Exceptions to this policy will be made for small clutch purses (5″ x 9″ w/ single zipper/flap closure) and medically necessary items (including diaper bags).
• If you have a blanket or jacket, you have to “wear” it, you cannot bring it into the ballpark in a bag.

Oakland Zoo’s Glowfari festival is open again with an extended run.

Glowfari will resume on February 5th and be extended until March 13th.
Tickets for Glowfari will go back on sale February 5 at 10am. Advanced tickets will be required.

If you already had reservations for a daytime visit or Glowfari, check your emails for instructions on how to reschedule.

What are Glowfari hours?

Glowfari will be open 7 nights a week from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Last entry is between 8:00pm and 8:30pm with a timed ticket reservation.

Home Depot is moving their Kid’s Workshops online.  But they are still giving away the actual kits for free at local Home Depot stores beginning the first Saturday of the month.

How to Get the Kids Workshop Kit

• We recommend that you call your the Home Depot location before you go to confirm that they have the kits and where you should go to pick them up.
• Some of the stores start giving away the kits starting the first Saturday of the month.
• Check with the store to confirm if you must bring the child to the store to get a kit.
• The kits may require some extra tools like a hammer, screwdriver, or wood glue.
• Don’t forget to have fun (I mean supervise!)

This is a great opportunity to start building your child’s personal toolkit.
