Free Crafts at JC Penney Kids Zone

JC Penney Kids Zone crafts are free drop-by and take-it-home crafts offered the second Saturday of each month from 11 am – 12 pm.

JC Penney Kids Zone staff will give the kids the supplies they need for the craft or project.

What to Expect at the JC Penney Kids Zone

It will be a fun, free activity for your little one, including a free craft, with a lanyard, ID badge, a collector’s pin, and other supplies if needed. And a Project Master Medallion when they complete 6 projects.

Grownups will get something a special extra 10% off coupon to shop in-store, valid for one day only.

Home Depot Free Kids Workshops 2024

Home Depot Kids Workshop are free “How-To” clinics designed for children ages 5-12. The workshops are offered on the first Saturday of each month between 9 am and 12 noon at all Home Depot stores.

What to Expect at a Home Depot Kids Workshop?

The Home Depot kids workshops are drop-in events. You can reserve a spot, but it is not mandatory. All materials are “while supplies last.”

Kids get a miniature Home Depot apron and a kit with instructions for the monthly workshop project. All the tools such as hammers, nails, paint, glue, and brushes are there at the Home Depot on communal tables.

After the project is completed, take the project to a Home Depot workshop ‘helper’ and your child will receive a pin (for their apron) and a certificate.

Pre-Game Clinics

Bring your kids to the game early to participate in drills on the same field the Giants play led by coaches from Sirious Baseball. Check-in and registration for the clinics start 2 and 1/2 hours before the first pitch, with the clinics starting 2 hours before. More info Link

Things to Know Before You Go to San Jose Giants Games

  • Tickets can be purchased at the ballpark.
  • Bags: Clear, 4.5″ x 6.5″ with a single zipper closure/flap (approximately the size of an adult hand) will be allowed in. If you have a blanket or jacket, you have to “wear” it, you cannot bring it into the ballpark in a bag.
  • Autographs and player interactions will continue to be prohibited due to MILB health protocols.

Things to Know Before You Go to San Jose Giants Games

  • Bags: Clear Bags should be no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Exceptions to this policy will be made for small clutch purses (5″ x 9″ w/ single zipper/flap closure) and medically necessary items (including diaper bags).

Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sundays For Kids With Autism And Special Needs

Chuck E. Cheese’s offers a sensory-friendly experience on the first Sunday of every month.

This special time will be two hours before the Chuck E. Cheese locations are open to the general public, usually 9 am – 11 am. During the summer the hours may change so as always, please contact the participating location.

In select locations, birthday parties can be coordinated during Sensory Sensitive Sundays events.
