White Elephant Sale – 96,000 Sq Feet of Shopping BlissThe preview sale is Sunday for the White Elephant Sale in Oakland. Tickets for the Preview Sale are $16 online (until 5 pm 1/28), and $20 at the door on Sunday. If you like bargain shopping then this is the day for you. Wear comfy shoes, bring a list of stuff and reminder the dressing rooms are communal. Preview Sale is January 29, 2017 and the Regular Weekend (Free Admission) is March 4-5, 2017

San Jose Emergency Prep Town Hall 2/4/17Time to review and practice. The Town Hall will kick off at 9:00 a.m. at the Cypress Community Building and will feature; Office of Emergency Services, San José Fire Department, and San José Police discussing their how they respond and their roles during local disasters. After the Town Hall, San José Prepared will be offering emergency preparedness training for residents.
