Join us every Wednesday morning at 11 AM for Little Ones Storytime in the Secret Garden between the Children’s Library and the Children’s Theater.
This week we will do a book as well as some songs for Thanksgiving. Please note! If the weatheimer is inclement (rain or too cold or too windy), the storytime will move to Facebook – so please join us there.
This storytime is for children who have not turned 2-year-old and their caregivers – but everyone is welcome! You’ll participate in a lot of songs and rhymes and hear at least one book.
For this story time, we ask you to please:
- Wear a mask as this is a youth event.
- BYOB(lanket) – The storytime will be in the Secret Garden behind the Children’s Library and while there will be some seating, it is best to plan on bringing your own blanket to sit on the grass with your family unit in order to keep appropriate distancing.
- BYOS(scarf or shaker) – Some of our songs and rhymes use shakers or scarves as props. We can’t give those out right now, so bring something that shakes and something scarf-like (any piece of fabric) that would be super. Otherwise, you can always pretend.
- Please note that the Children’s Library will not be open until 1:00 PM.
