Today: Virtual Python for Beginners at San Jose Library Online
Village Square Branch Library presents this online program for students in 3th thru 5th grades who would like to explore computer science concepts through hands-on activities and games.
Our volunteers will provide a brief overview of elementary Python concepts, as well as how to implement them in an applicative manner.
An early introduction to Python will foster critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. This course is perfect for beginners with no prior knowledge of programming. This program will be held online via Zoom.

Learn the basics of Sphero to set you up for success in building fun games. Learn to roll, aim, control the LEDs, change heading, and detect collisions.
Once you have the basics down, you can recreate classic games with a Sphero while learning the basics of game design. You’ll build your very own robotic renditions of some famous games like Pong.
This course is designed for ages 10-18.
