Attend the STEM Education Outreach Fair hosted by Seed Spoon Science!
Join us at the Seymour Center to host a community outreach science fair with STEM related activities for elementary school aged children.
Activities will be hosted by UCSC students majoring in different STEM fields. Students will also be sharing what they are studying in their majors and what they hope to pursue in the future. This will be a great opportunity for families to connect with STEM majors from UC Santa Cruz and for children to investigate new ideas in STEM.
Seed Spoon Science is a group of faculty and undergraduate researchers dedicated to inspiring new generations to pursue an education and career in STEM.

Today: Hack Cupertino at Quinlan Community Center.
This overnight hackathon is held at the Quinlan Community Center from April 13, from 6 p.m. to April 14, ending at about 10:30 a.m.
This 13-hour overnight hackathon for 13 to 18-year-olds prompts teams to solve a secret problem unveiled at the opening ceremony. Teams will have the night to create a solution to the problem. This event is an excellent opportunity for teens to destress, socialize, and flex their coding skills.
Please note that this event is a lock-in, if you leave the premises at any point in the evening you will not be allowed back in.

Join the STEM Club at Edenvale Branch Library, presented by Leland High School’s Women in STEM!
This four-session series is an introduction to various scientific subjects. Participants will get hands-on introduction to topics such as ecosystems, static electricity, the human body, and atoms. Each topic will engage in an activity that will prove different theories.
Recommended for ages 8-13. Free.
