Stewardship Saturday: Discover the Power of Photography for Conservation
This free program for high school students features rotating themes exploring the science of the Center.
Capture the magic of stewardship with us as we explore how photography can be used as a tool for conservation. Join us to learn how to effectively use your camera, including how to take amazing pictures on a phone (those settings are there to help)!
You’ll also hear stories of chasing the perfect shot from The Marine Mammal Center’s conservation photographer and have a chance to reflect on the impact these photos have on you. You’ll leave equipped with the knowledge needed to go out into the world and share conservation stories through your visual works.
Looking for an opportunity to become more involved with the Center’s work and make a real difference for the ocean and marine mammals you love? You’re invited to join us for Stewardship Saturday, a program for high school students in grades 9-12.
