Reserve a spot at an Apple store to learn how to create a theme song for your favorite show, book, or game using GarageBand on iPad.
We’ll cover rhythm basics, and kids will get hands-on with experimenting with Smart Drums, adding pre-recorded loops, and remixing their theme song. For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.
Bring your iPad or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 8–12.
Apple Labs are free, but you must reserve a space in advance. Dates, times and availability vary by location.

We’ll show them how to draw colorful faces and objects. They’ll get hands-on using the Procreate app on iPad with Apple Pencil to draw an emoji to take home.

Education supplies, arts and crafts supply store, Lakeshore Learning hosts a free kids craft Saturday from 11 am – 3 pm. No reservations required. Each week is a different theme.
Today: Imagination Builders
Budding engineers discover that the imagination is limitless at this exciting, hands-on event! Kids create and customize their own real-working vehicles, build a remote-control robot, craft action-packed marble mazes and more! No need to reserve your spot—just come on in.

Saturday afternoon cartooning workshops meet monthly from 1 pm – 2:30 pm.
Students learn a variety of introductory skills in each workshop, with subjects ranging from creating characters to writing stories to creating their own comic strips.
These workshops are for students from 7-13 years old.
