Young Eagles free airplane rides for kids (but reservation is strongly recommended!) at Watsonville Aviation Education Center (WAEC). Part of the Young Eagles learn to fly program and sponsored by EAA Chapter 119.
There is a Young Eagles (somewhere in the Bay area) event almost every month. Age range for Young Eagles is ages 8 to 17.
Click on the link to visit the Young Eagles site and to register online. For each child who wants to participate, his/her parent must complete & sign a registration form the day of the event.
The rallies are held at the Watsonville Aviation Education Center (WAEC), sign-up is between 9:00am and 12:00pm on the day of the rally at the airport on first come basis.
Young Eagles events are always subject to weather and pilot availability, and reservations are required.

We will meet by the big tree stump across from the Ranger Station. Please wear appropriate shoes as the terrain can by rocky at times and does have some slopes.
After the guided tour you will earn a digital badge and a limited edition Joaquin Miller-JWR sticker!
