Today: Fishing- Bass Basics at Lake Del Valle in Livermore.
At Bass Basics Fishing you will learn knot tying, rigging, casting, bait, and lure selection.
Learn about bass habitat and behavior.
Learn rigging techniques with a focus on artificial lure presentation. Learn about different rod/reel and line selections.
Get hands-on practice fishing. All gear is provided. Some fishing experience is recommended.
For Ages 10 and up.
Valid CA fishing license required for anglers 16 years and older
Participants BRING: Water, snacks, sunscreen, a small cooler in case you catch fish, and signed WAIVER/EMERGENCY form (PDF document will also be located at the end of the registration receipt).
Participants WEAR: hat, sunglasses, active clothes, and comfortable footwear (no flip flops or open-toed shoes).
