Calling all young creators! The Cartoon Art Museum is excited to host two free, 90-minute anime workshops with comics artist and Anime Your Way founder Carlos Nieto III.
Anime Your Way is a comprehensive step by step drawing program that teaches how to create and modify an anime character from scratch, regardless of drawing experience. Using simple shapes and easy to understand instructions, participants will gain the knowledge to create their very own unique anime characters. All materials are provided. So come join Carlos for a lively time!
This workshop is for Kids 6 to 13.

Pay What You Wish Days at the Cartoon Art Museum create affordable experiences for all to ignite imaginations and foster the next generation of visual storytellers by celebrating the history of cartoon art, its role in society, and its universal appeal with a visit to the Cartoon Art Museum.
From 11 am to 5 pm on the first Tuesday of the month set your own admission price and find inspiration through viewing original art, exploring our reading room, or enjoying family-oriented activities in our kid’s corner.

Saturday afternoon cartooning workshops meet monthly from 3 pm – 4:30 pm.
Students learn a variety of introductory skills in each workshop, with subjects ranging from creating characters to writing stories to creating their own comic strips.
These workshops are for teens 14-17 and Adults.

Drop in to make fun, little clay projects on Saturday mornings.
Use air dry clay to make miniature animals, little people, robots and more. Different subjects each week.
Time: Saturdays, 10:15am – 12:15pm. Drop in anytime
Fee:$10 per adult/child combo $5 per each additional person
Ages:3 to 7 years accompanied by paying adult
