Antioch 4th of July Parade

Join the City of Antioch in celebrating Independence Day in our historic Rivertown.

Set up along W 2nd St. and W 3rd St. before 4:00pm to watch our annual 4th of July Parade pass by.

Visit Waldie Plaza to experience live entertainment and enjoy local food vendors and trucks.

Have an exciting time with friends and family in the Games Zone located at City Hall, before picking your spot to see the big fireworks show. Parade Route The parade will begin on July 4, 2024 at the intersection of W 2nd St. and E St. Antioch, CA at 4:00 PM. The Judge’s Station will be located at the center of Waldie Plaza. A second parade performance stop will be on W 3rd St. next to City Hall. We will finish the parade on W 3rd St. at the corner of D St.

The City of Palo Alto Recreation Division invites you to our 4th of July Summer Festival and Chili Cook-Off.

Enjoy free chili tasting, live music, food trucks, and games/activities for kids. Bring your own chairs, picnic blankets, and reusable water bottles. Walking and/or Biking is strongly encouraged as parking is limited!

Drop by after the Alameda Fourth of July Parade to celebrate our nation’s birthday and the beauty and diversity of our Bay with family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon. This is a drop-in program; no registration is required.

Celebrate the beauty and diversity of our Bay with family-friendly activities. Ongoing crafts on deck all afternoon.

SCHEDULED PROGRAMS:

  • 1:00 – 1:30 pm Turtle Time.
  • 1:30 – 2:00 pm Listen to some nature stories.
  • 2:00 – 2:30 pm Celebrate Plastic Free July!
  • 2:30 – 3:00 pm Meet one of our reptile residents and learn some snake secrets.
  • 3:00 – 4:00 pm Clean up the beach and add to our museum of oddities!
