Monster Jam at Levi Stadium 4/22
I love Monster Jam! Tickets are as low as $20 (with code CHAVEZ on Ticketmaster).
These trucks are huge!!! Yet the drivers flip em, roll em, do donuts. You just have to see to believe. Come early for the Pit Party to take pictures and meet some drivers. Pit Party tickets are $10.

Hockey Playoffs at SAP Center $10 Tickets!
Our San Jose Barracuda hockey team is playing for their championship this weekend. Tickets are $10 and up, $2 beer, $1 hot dogs! The Barracuda play Friday and Sunday. San Jose Barracuda Playoff Tickets
San Jose Sharks come home for their game vs the Edmonton Oilers. The Sharks play at SAP Center on Saturday.
If you are going to the games, help a pet by parking at Andy’s Pet Shop on Notre Dame. $20 of pet supplies gets you a parking space, 5 minutes from SAP.

South Bay Fishing in the City at Ed Levin SCCP 4/22
South Bay Fishing in the City This is a free learn-to-fish event for children ages 5-15 with expert instruction and all necessary equipment. All events take place from 8:00 to 11:30 AM. No pre-reqistration required. This is a first come, first serve clinic operating from 8:00 – 10:00 AM. Children must be 5-15 years old. Silicon Valley Comic Con 4/21 – 4/23
How to describe the Silicon Valley Comic Con? Imagine the Woz inviting 60,000 of his coolest friends to come to downtown San Jose for a 3 day party celebrating science, sci-fi, tech, nerdiness so far off the charts as to be immeasurable, and just plain fun? Celebrate Earth Day at the Berkeley Marina. Enjoy live music, food, and activities for all ages. Connect with the community through live music, food, and hands-on educational activities
This free family-focused event celebrates the Bay, its local wildlife, and the people and agencies dedicated to its protection. Over 30 environmental and wildlife conservation organizations from around the Bay will share their exhibits with the public.
Visit each organization’s table for interactive games, science knowledge and live animals! Visit the Shorebird Park Nature Center, Adventure Playground and even take a free boat ride.
Music and entertainment scheduled:
- 11:00 am – 11:45 am : Opening drum circle – Everyone is welcome to join and bring your own drum or percussion instrument
- 11:45 am – 1:00 pm: Cool Operator – Reggae dance band
- 1:25 pm – 2:25 pm: Makuru – High energy West African dance band
- 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm : Los Boleros – Buena Vista Social Style Cuban music
Food vendors include: Brown Cap Organic Ice Cream, Curbside Kitchen, Roaming Bean Coffee, Dojo Dog, Royal Egyptian, and Southern Jazz Kitchen.
Waterfront Scavenger Hunt
Everyone is invited to join the Waterfront Scavenger Hunt, which will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
The event takes place at the beautiful Shorebird Park in front of the Shorebird Nature Center. The Nature Center building is an example of environmentalism in action, with its sustainable straw-bale architecture and its marine conservation and education programs.
