Comcast Cares Day at Sutro Elementary School
I spent April 22nd with staff, families and friends of Comcast at Sutro Elementary in San Francisco as part of Comcast Cares Day. What can get done when several hundred of people show up to paint walls and fences, clean windows and brighten classrooms? A heck of lot. Check out my post. Did you know that Comcast has low cost internet and offers laptops for $150?

Free AP, SAT and ACT Test Prep at Bay Area Libraries
As schools begin AP testing and students prepare for the June SAT test, just a reminder that most of the Bay area libraries offer free online test prep. You can usually find the link under Teens, E-leaning, or Homework.
If you can’t find the link for your library, send an email to marian@celebrate-family.com with the name of your local library and I will find it for you.
How many library cards do you have? Public library cards in California are free and it does make a difference with books, ebooks, discounts and some online services. So don’t stop with just one.
