Free Tomato Plants at Love Apple Farms in Scotts Valley

I love the plants at Love Apple Farms.Cynthia and her staff grow really, Really REALLY great varieties of heirloom plants.
This year the folks at Love Apple Farms have propagated too many tomato plants so they are giving them away.   Up to 12 free plants per person. Free plants from now until Sunday.  For more info check out the Love Apple Farms site.Love Apple Farms also has a lot of great DIY classes and so check out

Free Summer Workshops at SF Jazz for Middle and High School Students

 
SFJAZZ Summer Workshops are FREE to all students in grades 6-12. Taught by leading Bay Area jazz educators, each workshop is designed to improve core musicianship skills including improvisation, sight-reading, audition preparation, and more!

Campbell Youth Photo Contest

A new Youth Photo Contest for all youth (18 years of age or younger and must live or attend school in Campbell) to show residents what Campbell looks like through our youth’s eyes. Three age groups:

  • Ages 10 & under
  • Ages 11 – 14
  • Ages 15 -1 8

Prizes:  First place cash prize ($100) will be awarded in each category. Finalists will be notified and invited to the Civic Improvement Commission meeting on October 11, 2018.  Deadline to enter is Sept 30. For more details, please click on this link for website.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert | Symphony Silicon Valley

SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+.   Each week SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads  – pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes.
