MBARI Open House

Join us from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the MBARI Open House. This free community event is great fun for kids and adults of all ages. Learn about the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute’s (MBARI) latest discoveries and technology innovations.
- Meet members of our science, engineering, marine operations, and communications teams
- Test your skills building and piloting an underwater robot,
- Make children’s crafts, check out our fleet of deep-sea robots, and view our research vessels at the dock.
- MBARI research ships will be at the dock during the event, and crew from the ships will be available to answer your questions.
