Marine Mammal Monday presentations will be broadcast live on The Marine Mammal Center’s Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch the live broadcast. Just visit the Center’s Facebook page at 4pm PT on the day of the event. Past events are also online for viewing.
These virtual presentations will feature multimedia, pictures, video and a live-streamed educator to share the stories of amazing marine mammals and the Center’s efforts to ensure the health of these animals and our ocean.
July 12, 2021: Mysterious Marine Mammals
Our ocean contains some of the world’s most mysterious marine mammals that have managed to remain hidden from sight! Join us to learn more about some of these elusive species and how the Center is helping to investigate the mysteries that surround them.
We’ll be highlighting species like the Guadalupe fur seal and Cuvier’s beaked whale.
