Join us to learn more about northern elephant seals with researcher Monique Smith Lee. She will discuss their recovery from near extinction, their unique characteristics, and challenges due to climate change.
Elephant seals are keystone species that maintain a natural balance in their ecosystem. Due to the loss of genetic diversity, they may be more vulnerable to climate impacts. Discover how our everyday choices impact their survival strategies in a rapidly changing environment.
Audience: High school and adult.
