Lunar New Year Celebration at History San Jose

🎉🧧 This is Lunar New Year San Jose: Bridging Generations 2024! 🧧🎉
For over 30 years, the Tet Festival has been led by the elders in our community, but this year, they passed the baton to the youth in San Jose and we took on the task with a clear mission – to produce a an inclusive festival that bridges communities across generations, celebrating diversity, and igniting collective inspiration.
Our overarching vision is to preserve traditions, honor those before us, and nurture new legacies to foster intergenerational healing, learning, and growth together.
You don’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime inaugural festival hosted by Vietnamese American Roundtable (VAR), NorCal UVSA, and The Viet Museum.
Festivities include:
- lion dancing
- Chinese music
- children’s crafts
- storytelling
