Legion of Honor Museum – Free Admission Bay Area Residents

- Free every Saturday for Bay Area residents (all 9 counties!). Qualifying counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.
- Free the first Tuesday of each month for everyone.
- Free the first full weekend of each month with a BofA Bank of America ATM, credit or check card.
- Visitors ages 17 and under always receive free admission to the permanent collection galleries.
Free admission is to permanent galleries and special exhibitions. The Legion of Honor is two-fer. Admission to the Legion of Honor also gives you admission to the de Young (and vice versa).
Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving, but visit the site to confirm hours and if the museum is open.

Built to commemorate Californian soldiers who died in World War I, the Legion of Honor is a beautiful Beaux-arts building located in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park. Special things to look for at the Legion of Honor is Rodin’s The Thinker and the Spreckles Organ.um
