Today: Girls Who Hack: Learn Coding (Virtual)
Have you ever wondered how apps and games function on your phone behind the screen? Have you ever been interested in creating your own apps?
Learn through this 3-week course the basics of app development on Android device through MIT App Inventor.
This course prepares women ages 12-14 for computer science at high school level courses and expands your creativity through coding.
Girls, please join us to learn how to build apps, collaborate with others, and learn more about computer science! Participants need the MIT AI2 Companion from the Google Play Store. Participants are required to have a personal Android device or Android emulator. This event will take place over 3 Thursdays, registrants are expected to attend all three sessions. This event will take place over Zoom. Participants will be emailed the invitation 1 hour before the program’s start. Please have the MIT AI2 Companion app installed and ready to use.
