Free admission for Bay Area residents on the first Thursday of the month at SFMOMA in San Francisco.
All residents of the nine Bay Area counties are invited to spend an evening at the museum on us! From 12 pm –8 pm on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy SFMOMA’s galleries filled with lively and inspiring art — for free. First Thursdays also feature live programs that highlight exhibitions on view.
Free But Ticket Reservations are required.
General admission is free. Surcharged exhibitions require separate paid tickets.
Note: Children 18 and younger always get into SFMOMA free. Qualifying counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.
