2021 Bay Area International Children’s Film Festival

Bay Area International Children’s Film Festival (BAICFF for short!) will be online for 2021 running from July 22 – 25, 2021 in partnership with The Festival of Curiosity of Dublin Ireland and will be held virtually.  [LINK]

The theme for 2021 is “Playdate for the Imagination,” and will include speakers from Pixar and workshops with the Walt Disney Family Museum, and Berkeley City College.

It will be a family affair with events, workshops and movies scheduled from Friday night to Saturday afternoon.

Some of the events will be live via streaming so check your tickets.

This year, BAICFF celebrates with special celebrations and programs, along with animated, live action, shorts and feature-length films, special presentations, and Q&A sessions with award winning guest filmmakers.

  • Pixar: “Soul” Talk – BAICFF 2021 sits down with the filmmakers of Pixar’s “SOUL”, Trevor Jimenez (Story Lead) and Mike Jones (Writer) to talk about story development. How do they do that?
  • Chabot Space and Science Museum Tour & Telescope Viewing – JOIN US for a special tour from the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, CA as the astronomers will guide us through spectacular night sky viewing through Nellie, Chabot‘s most powerful telescope.
  • Shorts for All Ages – Sensational shorts for one and all to enjoy!
  • Shorts for 7 and Up – Spectacular films from around the globe for the more mature audience.
  • Short Films by Kids – Incredible short films for kids, made by kids!
  • Shooom’s Odyssey Screening + Q&A with Producer Claire Paoletti – Watch a Special Screening of “Shooom’s Odyssey” at BAICFF 2021 and listen to Producer Claire Paoletti talk about how they made this enthralling tale about two adorable owlets come to life.

Monster Jam Pit Party – Just $15

Don’t forget the Party in Pits before the events. The Monster Jam Pit Party provides unprecedented access to the Monster Jam trucks and drivers. This unique experience in the world of motorsports gives you access to see the trucks up close, take pictures, meet the drivers and get their autographs. Arrive early as drivers will depart the Pit Party 30 minutes prior to end time and autographs are not guaranteed. The Pit Party Pass be accompanied by a same-day event ticket. Don’t miss the Fan Fest from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, right before the Supercross main event! Fan Fest is a time to meet and greet with the riders, take pictures and make your day a Monster Energy Supercross a more personal experience.  It’s great to be in the stadium, but Fan Fest gets you right next to the riders and their bikes.

The Supercross FanFest includes every professional race team, riders, interactive sponsor displays and more! It’s an experience that gives fans an inside look at an array of products and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the stars of Monster Energy Supercross. Make sure to have your camera ready, because photo and autograph opportunities are abundant.

Monster Energy Supercross Futures – Kids Races

Supercross Futures, an AMA Amateur National Championship, is the official advancement platform of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. Tickets are just $25.

The ground-breaking concept will develop approximately 6,100 athletes across 26 classes inside the same stadiums and on the same dirt as the professionals in Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship – beginning with 4-year-olds in the 51 Limited class, through the elite 250SX Futures class, which provides athletes with the opportunity of earning their 250SX Class Supercross license through the Road to Supercross.

Summer Movie Clubhouse Times

For 2024, Cinemark (Century) showings will be Monday – Thursday, with multiple times throughout the day starting as early as 9:30 am and as late as 7:40 pm.

Movie times may change and some theaters will offer additional showtimes during the week so confirm at the theater website.
