California Academy of Sciences - Know Before Your Go

• Come early as there really is a lot to see at the Cal Academy of Sciences. Also some activities require a ticket.  The tickets are free but you want to get your choice of times.
• Some shows and activities in the Cal Academy require (free) tickets. Get your tickets for these events as soon as you enter the Cal Academy.
• Pokemon Go is everywhere at the Cal Academy and Golden Gate Park. Enjoy!
• Junior Scientist Adventure (FREE!): Stop off at the coat check and check out a field science backpack full of tools and an activity sheet to guide your exploration. Complete 3 or more activities and receive a certificate! This self guided activity is FREE with admission. Backpacks are distributed at the coat check from opening until 4 PM on a first come, first served basis.
