Today: Black Parent Town Hall and Literacy Day at Alum Rock Library.
Join us for a discussion about issues Black children and children of color are facing in our local education system. Groups scheduled to attend: San Jose Public Library, Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators, the African American Community Service Agency, the Black Kitchen Cabinet of Silicon Valley, 100 Black Men of Silicon Valley, the Santa Clara County Office of Education and the African Ancestry Museum & Education Center.

Today: 3D Printing On Demand at Vineland Library.
Want to get something printed on our 3D printer? Participants can choose a design from Thingiverse, or provide their own design. Designs must be in an .stl file format and able to be emailed. We estimate that 3D prints will be ready for pickup within 7 days of submission. Designs are considered printable if able to load and save on a Creality K1C, but the program lead has final say. All prints must take less than 1 hr 30 min (estimated 60 grams of filament). All prints are free and must meet the criteria above and below. Registration is required. Only 1 print per person and only 1 print per family/household per month.

Community Day: Welcome the Year of the Horse, with artmaking activities, cultural demonstrations, and live performances. This contemporary celebration honors Lunar New Year traditions commemorated around the globe and here in San José. Explore and create with family and friends in this multigenerational event. Admission to the Museum is free all day!
