Today: Head Over Heels | High School Edition by CMT Mainstage.
This laugh-out-loud love story is set to the music of the iconic 1980’s all-female rock band The Go-Go’s, including the hit songs, “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” and “Mad About You.” A hilarious, exuberant celebration of love, HEAD OVER HEELS follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction—only to discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts.
HEAD OVER HEELS is the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening.

The story of an extraordinary girl who dares to take a stand and change her own destiny, Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical is a captivating masterpiece that revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life.
Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp. Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Over the course of her first term at school, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other’s lives, as Miss Honey begins not only to recognize but also appreciate Matilda’s extraordinary personality. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules.
But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace! Book by Dennis Kelly. Music and Lyrics by Tim Minchin. Based on the book, Matilda by Roald Dahl.

The rich, lazy, and loveable gentleman Mr. Toad develops an obsession of sports cars. He buys car after car, but unfortunately, he is as reckless as he is wealthy, and his carelessness lands his himself in trouble.
Will Toad be able to earn his freedom with the help of his neighbors and friends?
