GameLab (Grades 5-8) | Virtual

Are you a gamer? Do you think you’ve got to turn your dream game into reality? For grades 5-8.

Come learn how to use a professional game development suite and learn how to code at the same time! We will be practicing coding skills while re-creating classic arcade games from when your parents were still kids!

You will require a laptop or desktop PC with which to install the game maker studio 2 software and a device to connect to the zoom call with.

Strong keyboarding and mousing skills are required to participate in this event but no prior coding skills are necessary. If you are familiar with Scratch, the concepts and use of Game Maker Studio 2 will come much easier.

This program will be hosted on Zoom.
