Craft Club (Grades K-3rd) | RWC Lib Online

Children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade enjoy stories, songs, crafts and at-home challenges.

How It works:
1) Pick up materials at the back of the Downtown Library from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. With no-touch-delivery, staff will place kits in your car. Kits distributed while supplies last.
2) Tune in online using the QR code provided or on our Online Learning and Play For Kids page.
3)Look for Craft Camp Remote.

Needle, Thread, Paper | RWC Lib Online

Learn how simple embroidery techniques can give new life to old photos, postcards, and other mementos. Even beginners can create unique artworks and one-of-a-kind gifts! Suggested age 16+

Sewing supplies will be available for pick-up at the Downtown library on November 14 while supplies last.

Recommended materials:

  • Embroidery floss (6-ply, divided into 3 ply lengths)
  • Sewing needle
  • Thumbtack Old postcards, photos, or other images on heavy paper or card stock
  • Heavy cardboard, card stock, or craft mat

Linda Janklow is the founding educator/director of Peopleologie, offering workshops for all ages about people, places and lasting hand crafting traditions.

The program promotes cultural literacy, celebrates community, and builds connections to the world through history, science, math, ancient technologies, and old and slow ways of making things.
