Come join PRW’s annual Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza.
The day will be filled with tons of fun activities, including a petting zoo, a visit with the Spring Bunny, spring-themed arts and crafts, an interactive kid’s carnival with fun prizes and Bunny Hop dance lessons!
Youth participants will receive a basket to collect all their spring goodies. Youth ages 11+ can participate in a fun scavenger hunt for prizes!
Pre-register online or register on-site day of event.

Oakland Zoo’s Glowfari Festival features hundreds of larger-than-life glowing animal lanterns throughout the Zoo. Family fun for all ages. 5 pm – 9 pm on select days.
Glowfari features hundreds of larger-than-life glowing animal lanterns throughout the Zoo.
This year’s experience features new themes including the forests of North America with iconic native wildlife like mountain lions and wolves, our frosty friends of the Arctic with puffins and polar bears, the Deep Ocean featuring rarely seen sea creatures, and a stroll through the swamp as you encounter alligators and other animals of the Bayou!
Finish your experience with a ride on the train through the great red island of Madagascar, a wondrous world full of lemurs, chameleons, and other unique flora and fauna!
Ticket Prices
Glowfari is a separate ticket (from regular admission to Oakland Zoo).
Adults: $26 adults | Children & Seniors (2-14 & 65-75): $22
Children under 2 and adults over 76: Free
Oakland Zoo Members: 10% discount
Parking: Free
Adopt an Animal at Oakland Zoo
Sharing a shout-out for one of my favorite programs for kids and adults alike at the Oakland Zoo, adopting an animal. Donate at the Hero level or greater and receive an animal plush of your adopted animal (or an Elephant if a stuffed plush is not available).
