Today: Reading Club for Children in Grades 1-4 at Biblioteca Latinoamericana Library.
Be a confident reader and practice your reading skills with us! Reading Club is open to children grades 1-4. Reading Club leaders and participants will choose fun books to read and talk about together, building language and reading comprehension skills as a group.
This is a free program. Registration is recommended but not required.

Today: Homework Club at the Willow Glen Library at Willow Glen Library
Need help with your homework? Students in kindergarten through 8th grade can come to the Willow Glen Branch Library’s Homework Club to be coached by high school volunteers.Students can get help with their homework in subjects including reading, writing, math, social studies, science, and more! Homework Club at the Willow Glen Branch is scheduled for Thursdays each week through 5/25 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. with the following exceptions because of city and school holidays: 10/6, 11/24, 12/22, 12/29, 1/5, 2/23, 4/13. No registration is required, but please note Homework Club has a limited capacity and students might not be coached one-on-one for the whole duration of the program depending on volunteer availability. Assistance in languages other than English may be provided based on volunteer availability.

Today: Homework Club at West Valley Branch Library at West Valley Library
Need help with your homework? Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade can come to West Valley Branch Library’s Homework Club to be coached by teen volunteers and a Resilience Corps Associate.Students can get help with their homework in subjects such as reading, writing, math, and social studies! Homework Club at West Valley Branch is scheduled for Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. from October to December except for the following dates due to City holidays or school breaks: 11/24, 12/22, and 12/29. The club schedule for 2023 will be determined and posted closer to January. Note: We will meet in the Group Study Room in the back of the library on these dates: 10/27, 11/3, 11/10. Free. No registration is required, but Homework Club has a limited capacity and students might not be coached one-on-one or for the whole duration of the program depending on volunteer availability. This program is offered in partnership with the ResilienceCorps Learning Pathway Program.
