[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Free Comic Book day (FCBD) is one of my favorite days of the year. Comic book stores throughout the world will be giving away free comics, posters and other swag. There will be special comics issued just for this day. Comics will be available for all age groups.
Note: For 2021 Free Comic Book Day will be held on August 14, 2021.
2021 marks the 20th anniversary of Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) and plans to commemorate this anniversary include themed t-shirts, posters and a commemorative 20th anniversary logo.
What Can You Expect on Free Comic Book Day?
- Free Comic Books! Comic book stores around the world will celebrate with new free comics created especially for Free Comic Book Day, all you have to do, is go into the store.
- Most stores will have the FCBD comics in special section or table where visitors can help themselves.
- There is usually a limit of 3 free comics at any location, but this varies.
- Lots of stores combine FCBD with other events such as artist signings, sales and family friendly events. Check the FCBD website for links and information.
- Sales and discounts on comic books and other items in the store.
Libraries Participate in Free Comic Book Day Too!
Check with your local library for Free Comic Book Day events and swag.
