2020 Gro More Good Grassroots Grant DTA 2/14

2020 Gro More Good Grassroots Grant: Awards provide funding for the development of new and expansion of existing youth garden programs and greenspaces serving 15 or more youth.

150 grant recipients will be awarded a check for $500 to support their initiatives. The top 25 programs will receive a check for $1,000.

Applications are due Friday, February 14, 2020.

New On the Site: LumiNight Lantern Festival at Alameda Co. Fairgrounds

More than your average Chinese lantern festival, LumiNight brings you One World. A Million Lights. A unique celebration of our planet’s most treasured wonders, wildlife, and nature that includes a Forest of a Million Lights, dinosaurs, Chinese Zodiac animals, the Great Barrier Reef, the story of Noah’s Ark, and animals both extinct and endangered.

Kaiser Permanente Paid High School Internships – DTA 1/10/2020

This is a PAID internship!
KP LAUNCH interns will have the opportunity to:

Work full-time within various Kaiser Permanente departments for eight weeks
Learn about a variety of different health careers opportunities
Meet and learn from health professionals and their internship program peers
Gain professional and personal development through workshops

The summer 2020 program is scheduled to take place starting as early as Monday, June 8 and end by Friday, August 14 depending on the local school schedule. This eight-week internship experience will be offered to a select number of interns at a Northern California Kaiser Permanente facility closest to their home.

Deadline to apply: January 10, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. PST.
