On four days in 2018, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. Mark your calendar for these entrance fee–free dates in 2018:

  • January 15: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • April 21: First day of National Park Week
    For one week each April, join with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, to celebrate America’s treasures. National Park Week is a time to explore amazing places, discover stories of history and culture, help out, and find your park!Get ready to celebrate National Park Week 2018 from April 21 through 29! Park across the country will host special program and events, including for:
    • April 21: National Junior Ranger Day – click here to visit the National Parks Jr. Ranger program.
    • April 22: Earth Day
    • April 28: Military & Veteran Recognition Day
    • April 29: National Park Rx Day
  • September 22: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day
