Movie – Coco and Diwali Craft | Berryessa Branch Library
We are fortunate to live in a diverse community with vibrant cultures! Dia De Los Muertos and Diwali occur during the first week of November, which makes San Jose teens extra celebratory! Teens in the Berryessa community are invited to enjoy a film screening of “Coco,” Pixar’s award-winning celebration of Dia de los Muertos. “Coco” follows the adventures of Miguel, a young boy who dreams of being a musician, as he searches for his ancestors in the Land of the Dead. During the filming there will also be an option to create beautiful Diwali art, in honor of the Hindu holiday also known as the Festival of Lights. This is a teensReach event open to all teens interested in learning more about the library and the teensReach volunteer program.
