This Concert: With Strings Attached

The violins, violas, cellos and double bass form the most important section of our orchestra.  Learn about vibrating strings, horsehair bows, what pizzicato means, and why cellos don’t have chin rests!  Plus lots of beautiful music from our amazing professional players.

About Very First Concerts by San Francisco Chamber Orchestra

Designed with toddlers in mind, these delightful 20-minute presentations introduce musical concepts, offer hands-on activities and encourage movement and dance.
