[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Today:  Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month | Virtual Book Reading : Dancing Hands, by Margarita Engle & Rafael Lopez

As a part of Microsoft’s Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month Programming, we are offering a number of Children’s book readings read aloud by persons from the Hispanic & Latinx community.

Join us as we listen to the book reading: Dancing Hands, by Margarita Engle & Rafael Lopez

This book tells the story of a little girl’s bravery, her musical talents, and important contribution towards equality in the arts. It’s based on the true story of Teresa Carreno, a child prodigy who played piano for Abraham Lincoln during the U.S. Civil War.

These events are designed for students K-3rd grade but are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Hispanic & Latinx History.
