STEM at Home Activity | SJPL | Online
November 4, 2021 @ 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm
Activities are designed for elementary-to-middle-school children (primarily ages 5-11) and are an interactive way to expose children to various fields of science and how it relates to the world. Parent Supervision is strongly recommended.
Activities/topics change monthly:
Nov 4 – Density
Dec 2 – Polymers
Jan 6 – Chemical reactions
Feb 3 – Buoyancy
Mar 3 – Forces
April 7 – Air pressure
The materials needed for each event will be updated at least one week prior to the activity.
Registration is required for each individual monthly activity. Meeting link and log-in details will be sent to registered participants via email up to 24 hours before the program start time.
This virtual program is for ages 5-11.
This monthly STEM Activity for Kids is presented by Lynbrook High School’s Women in STEM Club (lhswistem@gmail.com).
