Lunar New Year Celebration | SF Zoo

Join us at the SF Zoo as we celebrate the Lunar New Year on February 21, 2026.
Find us at the playground for a special Lion Dance and Drum Performance from the Chung Ngai Dance Troup! There will be crafts for the kids and free stickers during each of the three different show times, 11:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m., each show is about 15-20 minutes long.
If rain is present, this event will take place at the Great Hall. See and learn about animals from the Pacific Rim region, enjoy arts & crafts, and more!
