Lunar New Year Festival | Hakone Estate

Hakone Estate and Gardens will celebrate the Chinese “Year of the Snake” at its annual Lunar New Year Festival on February 23, 20254 from 11 am to 3 pm.
The Celebration traditionally includes:
- Traditional Lion Dance at Noon
- Kung Fu Martial Arts
- Tai Chi Performance Solo Dance ~ The Drunken Beauty
- Asian Traditional Dance Calligraphy
- Art & Crafts Corner, Fun Games
- Local Vendor Booths Food & Boba Tea for purchase and more.
Children’s Costume Parade
Hakone will continue its beloved annual tradition of hosting a children’s lunar festival costume parade in the garden at 1:30, where children 12 and under wear festive Asian outfits and receive a souvenir gift (parents must register their children by noon). Other kid’s activities will round out the afternoon, from face painting to crafts.
Admission Fee: Adult (18 – 64) $12 | Seniors (65+) $10 | Kids (5 – 17) $8
