Welcome to Let’s Build our DNA! , a virtual STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering, Math) project brought to you by Bit Project and Microsoft Silicon Valley.
Todays subject : Biology!
What is DNA? Why is DNA important? Students will be introduced to what DNA is and why it is important for our body by building their own DNA model. They will also learn that DNA is complementary and practice base-pairing.
For this activity – you will need the following items at home:
2 sheets of paper
8 Pipe cleaners in four different colors
Scissors
Tape
1 pencil or marker

You will be watching and asking questions through Microsoft Teams Meetings! All you need is a modern web browser or the Microsoft Teams app on iOS or Android.
